HOW DO I....
Obtain A Repeat Prescription?

If you are on regular medication you will be given a computerised repeat prescription printout with your prescription. Please tick the items you require and hand it in at reception, place in the repeat prescription box or drop into the post box by the front gate (note that two working days' notice is required). Prescriptions can be collected DURING SURGERY HOURS ONLY. If you would like your prescription posted to you, please enclose a stamped addressed envelope. We do not accept telephone requests.

If you have a fax machine you may fax prescription requests to us on 020 7732 4225 (Acorn Surgery) or 020 7138 7851 (Gaumont House Surgery).

Please collect your prescription from where it was requested ie if the script was requested from Gaumont House Surgery, collect it from Gaumont House Surgery.

The housebound or less able people can now contact some local pharmacists direct for repeat prescriptions but note that three days' notice is required; a collection/delivery service is provided.

Practice Protocol

Patients are considered to be registered with the practice rather than with an individual doctor. You can see the doctor of your choice by request when arranging an appointment, but whilst the practice will endeavour to accommodate you in this respect, it might not always be possible. In that event you will be offered an explanation. The doctors cover each other’s duties during holidays and out of hours. Emergency service doctors may be used at night and weekends.
